Joele Killed just 10 days he arrived in England



The 20-year-Joele who had been in England for just 10 days, died from his injuries at King’s College Hospital in London after he was assaulted above the Vesuvius restaurant in Maidstone, Kent, where he was working.

“Joele father said- He was so happy to be in England. My son was not the sort to go looking for trouble”


Four Lithuanians have been charged with his murder. The men have been remanded in custody and are due to appear before Medway Magistrates’ Court via video link today.


They are also all accused of grievous bodily harm in connection with an assault on a second victim, a spokesman for the Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate said.


Two others have been released on bail. Joele’s father Ivan said yesterday: “He was so happy to be in England.


His cousin Andrea Augutini added: “You can’t die at 20 just for a job.”
