Man Utd fans will not be best pleased with David Moyes latest transfer plans

Manchester United manager David Moyes has warned fans against expecting a vehement spending spree to land new players at the club.
Speaking to reporters Moyes said: “I’ll look at January but I wouldn’t want people to have big expectations about what you would sign or do in January because I don’t think January has in the main been a really good month to sign really at the top.
“If you’re in trouble near the bottom of the league you might if you’re desperate for something but I think where we’ll be with Manchester United we’ll be looking for the top,” he added.
Moyes also praised the quality of his current pack and said that reinforcements to the squad would be added only when the ‘right players become available’.
While Moyes’ current words may be interpreted in a different way – an attempt to raise the fallen morale of his players and make them believe in themselves – fans would still be sceptical. At Everton, Moyes was always required to spend from a limited budget but at Old Trafford, he does have his hands dipped in a lot of cash. However, critics are still wary of his frugal mentality and are not sure whether he would splash the cash in the market even when it is desperately needed.
