One adolescent man returning home after two years in Brazil was totally shocked by his father’s massive shedding of weight.
Ty Higley had been working as a Mormon missionary in Brazil with bound contact back home, allowing his father to disguise the fact he had lost 140 pounds since saying goodbye to him.
Duane Higley had acclimated his son’s workout videos to complete the transformation.
Young missionaries are only allowed two Skype calls a year meaning that, for one conversation, Duane had to wear multiple jumpers to fool his son.
The two men are now planning to run a half marathon together this summer.
