JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE TAKES BACK THE NIGHT AT ITUNES FESTIVAL

REVIEW:  JT ROCKS THE ROUNDHOUSE AND BRINGS SEXYBACK FOR GOOD...

With the end of the iTunes Festival 2013 fast approaching, it was Justin Timberlake's turn to waltz onto the Roundhouse stage - marking one of the most highly anticipated gigs to date. With the likes of Lady Gaga, Kings of Leon and the Arctic Monkeys already delivering epic performances, it promised to be an experience, one of the 20/20 kind.

Feeling: After Mikky Ekko started proceedings with his sleek and silky tones, the stage was set for Mr. JT. Excitement reached climax as the countdown began, with the star welcomed on stage by his band, the Tennessee Kids. Justin then glided across to greet his audience and was met with deafening screams. Timberlake had officially arrived to rock the Roundhouse.

The Look: JT opted for his usual smart attire and now trademark trilby, which carried a single red feather. Sporting a crisp white shirt, smart jacket and fancy white shoes with silver toe-caps, Justin looked the part. The Tennessee Kids donned red shirts and black waistcoats as the ladies wore slinky black dresses. The stage was simple, just Justin and his band, but what else do you need when you're in the presence of a superstar?

Tunes: Timberlake kicked off his storming set with Only When I Walk Away, giving fans a glimpse at what to expect from his new LP, The 20/20 Experience 2 of 2. New tracks True Blood, Take Back The Night and TKO also went down a storm with the audience, but it was the old favourites such as SexyBack, Like I Love You, Cry Me A River, Señorita and Rock Your Body which transformed the Roundhouse into a massive party.

And, the party didn't stop there, with Justin attacking the audiences' ear-drums with his part on Jay Z tune Holy Grail, Suit & Tie and Mirrors - with every single member of the crowd singing along with Timberlake and throwing their arms up in the air in appreciation, providing some amazing visuals.

Special Guests: While an appearance from Jigga would have been the icing on the cake, JT didn't need special guests for this show. We couldn't take our eyes of Justin as he showed off some of his trademark dance moves, truly owning the night as he grooved across the stage.

Banter: Timberlake let the music do the talking as he blasted his way through hit-after-hit. He did however encourage the girls and guys to get involved during Señorita, and joked that he could "barely speak English" when interacting with the crowd. They returned the favour by hanging on his every word, as rare as it may have been. Wrapping things up, he also thanked London and iTunes for having him.

Celeb Spots: MTV's very own Laura Whitmore and former Pussycat Dolls star Ashley Roberts were seen throwing some shapes in the crowd, as well as Arsenal footy ace Mathieu Flamini and Atomic Kitten's Liz McClarnon who were also spotted enjoying JT's smashing show. Star Trek's Benedict Cumberbatch and Chris Pine were also in attendance.

Sweat Factor: In the words of Justin himself, it was 'hot just like an oven' as the crowd worked up a sweat, bouncing along to all his hits. As for Timberlake, the usually smart star also had to loosen a few shirt buttons and lift his trilby to cope with the heated conditions.

Summary: As the chants of 'Justin' echoed way into the night, one thing was for certain, Timberlake is a man who was born to entertain. From start to finish, Justin gave it his all - whether it be body-popping his way across the stage or jamming with his band, we throughly enjoyed watching the musical maestro in action. While his iTunes stint may have been short but sweet, it's obvious that Sexy is well and truly back, and from what we've just witnessed, it's here to stay.
